Lean Management, Kaizen and Six Sigma
Lean production techniques have revolutionised manufacturing as the success stories of Toyota and others show. Lean principles are now being applied in the service sector in pursuit of enhanced performance and sustainable service improvement. The principles of lean management are based on understanding customer needs, being responsive to change and continually minimising non-value adding activities. They involve multi-skilled team working, effective supplier relationships and a flexible approach to service design and delivery. This can be achieved through a mixture of consultancy support and learning, provided by our partner organisation – Ross International.

Process Management International (PMI), in conjunction with the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) provide a full programme of Six Sigma courses in Dunfermline at the Carnegie Conference Centre, including:

Planning for Six Sigma and Business Improvement, Six Sigma Green Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt Conversion and Six Sigma Black Belt.
